Statistical Process Control (SPC) Charts – Matrix Gemini also allows screens to be configured to display SPC charts using the one time configuration tool. Charts available include:

• Distribution – the frequency distribution of the same data.
• Trendline – a set of randomly generated data shown as a trendline in date sequence.
• X-chart – (chart of the means) an error condition exists which the software automatically circles in red.
• R-chart – (chart of the ranges) an error condition exists which the software automatically circles in red. Three points lie outside of on standard deviation from the mean which the software automatically marks with yellow chart markers.

Integrating the lab and other business systems.

• Matrix Gemini achieves this by using web services and XML to provide for a standard method for the interchange of data between the LIMS and other systems.
• Matrix also offers a fully functional API that consists of a complete suite of Active X objects with full documentation for users who wish to write their own programs to read and write to the Matrix Gemini database in a safe and audited way.
• Matrix also provides a class of screen called Generic Selector screens that can display information resident on another system on a Matrix screen via an SQL query and ODBC.
